Olissippo Hotels Announcement – COVID-19

We, at the Olissippo Hotels Group are committed in welcoming and harboring our guest with the utmost safety, striving as well to assure the same to all our employees and business partners.
The worrying situation we are currently experiencing in our country, has forced us to take according measures in order to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, all under the guidelines provided by the Public Health Management and the Portuguese Government
Taking all into consideration:

A contingency plan has been implemented in each of our hotels, as well as our Corporate Head Office;
We have increased the cleaning frequency of all public and service areas with the use of specialized disinfectants;
All bar and restaurant services have been suspended;
Modifications have been introduced to the Food & Beverage operation (breakfast, lunch and dinner services), being now solely provided in the rooms through Room Service;
The Spa operation (sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, swimming pool and massage treatments) has been suspended;
All activity regarding venues and meetings have been suspended;
Boundaries have been set regarding the free movement and maintenance of people in specific locations in order to ensure no gatherings are promoted;
Due to the new Coronavirus, cancellation policies and reservation postponements have been made more flexible;
Due to this pandemic crisis, any reservation may be cancelled cost free as long as associated to the closing periods of our hotels;
Regarding pre-paid reservations, the related amount will be kept as a deposit to be used further along the time frame;
Sales & Marketing, Financial, Administrative and Human Resources Departments are now functioning on a Work from Home basis;
Regarding communications, we will keep active e-mail and telephone contacts

Starting tomorrow, the 24^th of March, we will be temporarily closing down the Olissippo Saldanha and Olissippo Castelo hotels, and on the 1^st of April, the same with the Olissippo Lapa Palace and Olissippo Marquês de Sá units, situation that will be maintained until the end of the month of April
The Olissippo Oriente Hotel will be maintained operating, although subject to all the beforehand mentioned limitations, thanks to the effort and unconditional support of our employees, to whom we extend our greatest acknowledgment.
All mentioned measures may be subject of update considering further Health Authorities or Portuguese Government recommendations
